Hello, F1!
It is upon us again.
F1 is now in SINGAPORE!!!
Who will get the pole position, and who will get the coveted top spot?
Will it be…
Vettel or Webber? Vettel’s current odds of winning are 2:1, the highest of all. By the way, Vettel was born in 1987, making him 23 this year! Wth! He’s so young! I didn’t know sia. He’s one of the youngest in F1 racing, the youngest is like born in 1990 or something.
Webber has a record for being a gung-ho driver (just like his counterpart). If he doesn’t crash, he has good odds too.
Or will it be Hamilton or Button?
Both I don’t like. Button has never been an exceptional driver, he gets maybe 2nd or 3rd place but almost never first. But they are the two with no feuds so far in 2010, unlike the other teams. That might work to their advantage if there’s no fierce rivalry.
So who will it be?
Oh, who am I kidding.
IT’S GONNA BE ALONSO!! Okay he has a 4:1 odds, but that’s second to Vettel. Not too bad. Massa’s gonna help make up the points for a Ferrari championship.

I still say she doesn’t really look pregnant, but she was wearing a maternity dress when she arrived here, looking very tired. We might be the last ones to see her before an official announcement. If she announces it out during the concert on Sunday, I think everyone might just spontaneously combust.

Watch Lady Gaga prance around during the Vanity Fair shoot for the September issue! She looks like the Nazgul Witch-King in the beginning. And check out 00:40 when she starts dancing with the hairstylist! HAHAHAHA. And then she jumps at 00:49 and nearly falls over in a pair of high heels that wouldn’t look out of place on If Shoes Could Kill .com. The whole thing is just so hilarious and entertaining! I sat through goodness-knows-how-many shoots of celebrities who were so boring at their shoots, it’s fun to finally see one who’s larger than life.

I think the 2nd cover looks best. Looks most like her style. Though I would have thought the photographer would have gotten a lot of good shots that showcased Gaga much more.
Still. I can’t figure out why she wants to go gray. Not a good look for anyone, I would think.
ONE WOMAN. WITH CELEB POWER. OUT TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
I came across this new auction that is the brainchild of Eva Longoria (Gabrielle of Desperate Housewives). Link is here: Twitchange. All proceeds go to the efforts in rebuilding Haiti in aHomeinHaiti.org.
Now, instead of bidding for autographs or memorabilia from celebrities, people would be bidding for three things:
1. To have a celebrity follow you on Twitter
2. To be mentioned by a celebrity in a tweet
3. For a celebrity to retweet you
The celebrities who were enlisted and are currently on board include Eva Longoria (duh), Nicole Richie, Paula Abdul, the Jonas brothers (a lot of fangirl money coming in), Demi Moore, Perez Hilton (is he considered a celebrity?), Gordon Ramsay (haha! I wonder what he tweets about), Cher, Alicia Keys (New Yooooooork!), Ne-Yo, Sophia Bush, and more.
So who will bid? Fans who admire a certain celebrity, businesses who want to be mentioned to a huge audience (this is worldwide exposure we’re talking about here), and people who just want their money to be benefitted by the children in Haiti, especially the ones with severe autism and cerebral palsy.
Shows how the times are changing and the rising power and influence social media brings to the table.
Personally, I think this idea is FUNKAY. Imagine telling people “Yeah, Oprah follows me. We talk on twitter all the time”.
Okay I don’t seriously think that that will really happen. But it would still be funky to say that, no?
Makes me wonder, does Oprah tweet? As in the real Oprah?
Bidding begins on 15th Sept and ends on 25 Sept. It’s worldwide, so I bet there’ll be REAL competition.

He curls up in a corner as I collapse on the bed, exhausted. He watches me, head low, until perhaps he felt it safe to come out again. Moments pass before I get up again and begin to advance on him, holding out the unlikeliest weapon of all. He panics, attempting to run past me once, and then a second time.
In the end, I give up and turn to collapse on the bed again, flinging my weapon on the floor.
Have it your way then, I think irritably. He seems to understand that, as he finally steps out into the open. He begins to dry himself off, his malevolent blue eyes occasionally flicking to where I was.
Clearly, the cat has deep issues with bathtime.

Bubble Up with Liese
Geddit, geddit!
Okay anyway, a few months ago I wanted to try out this new hair dye that recently came out in the market.
Liese hair dye in Cassis Berry (pink-red tinge).
It turned out more red than brown.
Looks reddish with flash, but it was very brown in real life, and I was quite discontented, considering I wanted red hair in the first place.
Maybe I should have gone to a salon but I’m so distrustful of hair stylists ever since one incident. This guy promised he could dye my hair blue without the bleaching, so I went ahead.
It turned out BLACK. Like as if I did nothing to it!
Worse still, when I put in red highlights after that, the hair wouldn’t take to the red because the hair was too dark.
Basket.
Anyway, a few months later, along came Cozycot looking for people who wanted a change in their hair colour. Liese was introducing two new hair colours along with their already-existing 10 hair colours.
The two colours: Sweet Apricot from the orange-brown series, and Platinum Beige, cousin of Ash Brown.
Purple extensions! Nothing can compare to purple and pink hair! Except maybe Obi-Wan’s wrath.
The instructions were pretty clear, and since I already used it, I thought there’d be no problem.
Then I forgot.
When you massage it in, bubbles will form but they won’t stay until you’re about halfway through. I forgot about that and was going “Oh shit! Oh shit!” at first. The bubbles formed later, and by then my hair was too difficult to separate and cover it evenly.
Nooooooooo!
The things I learnt:
1. Don’t panic.
2. Massage it throughout evenly, especially the inner layers of the hair cause this second time round, parts of the inner layers were still black.
3. Don’t neglect the roots either.
4. Apply hair lotion while hair is still wet. Then after blow-dry, hair will be CHIO!
Sian, the colour not even. The first time I did it it was very even, so I got complacent.
After second hair wash, the colour still looks good.
So bright!
SO CHIO!
Anyway, very happy with my hair colour now.
