Bubble Up with Liese
Geddit, geddit!
Okay anyway, a few months ago I wanted to try out this new hair dye that recently came out in the market.
Liese hair dye in Cassis Berry (pink-red tinge).
It turned out more red than brown.
Looks reddish with flash, but it was very brown in real life, and I was quite discontented, considering I wanted red hair in the first place.
Maybe I should have gone to a salon but I’m so distrustful of hair stylists ever since one incident. This guy promised he could dye my hair blue without the bleaching, so I went ahead.
It turned out BLACK. Like as if I did nothing to it!
Worse still, when I put in red highlights after that, the hair wouldn’t take to the red because the hair was too dark.
Basket.
Anyway, a few months later, along came Cozycot looking for people who wanted a change in their hair colour. Liese was introducing two new hair colours along with their already-existing 10 hair colours.

The two colours: Sweet Apricot from the orange-brown series, and Platinum Beige, cousin of Ash Brown.
Purple extensions! Nothing can compare to purple and pink hair! Except maybe Obi-Wan’s wrath.
The instructions were pretty clear, and since I already used it, I thought there’d be no problem.
Then I forgot.
When you massage it in, bubbles will form but they won’t stay until you’re about halfway through. I forgot about that and was going “Oh shit! Oh shit!” at first. The bubbles formed later, and by then my hair was too difficult to separate and cover it evenly.

Nooooooooo!
The things I learnt:
1. Don’t panic.
2. Massage it throughout evenly, especially the inner layers of the hair cause this second time round, parts of the inner layers were still black.
3. Don’t neglect the roots either.
4. Apply hair lotion while hair is still wet. Then after blow-dry, hair will be CHIO!
Sian, the colour not even. The first time I did it it was very even, so I got complacent.
After second hair wash, the colour still looks good.
So bright!
SO CHIO!
Anyway, very happy with my hair colour now.

OMG! I love your hair colour in the last 2 pictures. Im thinking of using Liese Berry as well… What colour hair did you have before? My hair is currently golden brown and i was just wondering what it will look like if i used the reddish one over my current hair colour… Will it turn out like yours of an even brighter/darker colour?
Thanks.

The last two pictures are actually Sweet Apricot, the first picture was the colour I had from Cassis Berry (my hair before that was black). If you’re looking to do red, I wouldn’t advise Cassis Berry because that turns out brown, maybe you can try Sweet Pink instead? If you really want red I would suggest you don’t use Liese cause their red hair colours don’t really come out the way you want it. If you want brown however, go ahead! It’s quite cheap and value-for-money.
Ohh~ Thank you so much! =)
hmmm… my hair colour is already brown…i wanted really red one… hmm how about blonde.. any suggestion? do i need to buy 2 box… if my hair long
i wanted to dye a red colour.. dono if it will work for me… i coloured last time….with brown… so any idea… how about blonde..thanksss
If you’re planning on red, I won’t recommend Liese because it doesn’t work for me and also some of my friends.
For blonde, I would advise you to go to the salon because you need to bleach your hair first, and it can go horribly wrong if DIY-ed. Personally, I’d rather spend more to have nice hair than to buy something cheap and be upset with your hair colour later! Hope this helps.
just want to ask does the liese bubble have bleach? I wanna try it but i dont wanna bleach my hair. Aft you dye, does it fade fast?
You mean you want to dye blonde? I’m not sure about bleach, but if you want to dye brown, no problem using it. I’ve used it several times already, all quite satisfactory results. It doesn’t fade fast, but depending on the colour you choose the black roots might be obvious. I dyed my hair again, this time in Marshmallow Brown, and the colour blends with the black roots. It’s been a while now and my hair still looks good.
